Modelling Adulthood
Behaving in a way that is acceptable to children can be quite a challenge. These little people don’t only see you at your best, as your extended family and friends do, but also see us for who we are. There is no pulling the wool over their eyes. Now if children take in 93 per cent of what they see, quite of few of us are in big trouble when it comes to exhibiting behaviour that is worth emulating.
So what is the trick? It is simply adopting a life style in which you will have no regrets down the line. Walk the talk. Do as you would expect your children to do.
Now, I know we are not all perfect, but children see through the masks that we adults try to put on.
